Welcome to Mid American Epoxy Creations. These Terms and Conditions outline the policies and guidelines for using this website and for purchasing custom furniture from Mid American Epoxy Creations. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms described below.

Custom Furniture Orders
All furniture created by Mid American Epoxy Creations is custom-built to order. Each piece is handcrafted using natural wood and epoxy, which means every item will have unique characteristics.

Natural variations in wood grain, knots, texture, and color are normal and are considered part of the beauty and individuality of handcrafted furniture.

Final project details—including size, materials, finishes, and design—will be confirmed with the customer prior to production. Once production has begun, changes to the design may not be possible.

Estimated completion timelines may vary depending on project complexity, material availability, and current production schedule.

Deposits and Payment Terms
A 50% deposit is required before work begins on any custom furniture project. The deposit secures your place in the production schedule and allows materials to be purchased for your order.

The remaining balance is due at the time of pickup or prior to delivery.

Furniture will not be released for pickup, delivery, or third-party shipping until the remaining balance has been paid in full.

Production Timeline
Each piece of furniture is handcrafted, and production timelines may vary based on project size, materials, and current workload.

Estimated timelines will be discussed during the ordering process. These timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. If delays occur due to material availability or other unforeseen circumstances, Mid American Epoxy Creations will communicate with the customer as soon as possible.

Delivery, Pickup, and Shipping
Customers may choose from the following options for receiving their furniture:

Local Pickup
Customers may arrange to pick up their completed furniture at the designated pickup location.

Delivery
Delivery may be available depending on location. Delivery fees are additional and will be discussed and agreed upon prior to scheduling delivery.

Third-Party Shipping
Customers may arrange for a freight or shipping company to pick up their furniture on their behalf. The customer is responsible for coordinating the pickup and covering all shipping costs.

Once furniture has been picked up, delivered, or released to a third-party shipping company, responsibility for the item transfers to the customer.

Customers are encouraged to inspect their furniture upon pickup or delivery.

Furniture Size, Weight, and Placement
Many of the pieces created by Mid American Epoxy Creations—including river tables and epoxy tables—are constructed using solid wood and epoxy materials and may be substantial in size and weight.

Customers are responsible for ensuring:
• The furniture will fit through doorways, stairways, hallways, and entry points at the delivery location.
• The flooring and structural supports where the furniture will be placed are capable of supporting the weight of the piece.

Mid American Epoxy Creations is not responsible for damage to floors, structures, or property resulting from the placement or weight of the furniture once it has been delivered or picked up.

Cancellations and Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our work, deposits may be non-refundable once materials have been purchased or production has begun.

If an order is canceled before production starts, refund eligibility may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Natural Materials Disclaimer
Furniture created by Mid American Epoxy Creations uses natural wood. Wood is a living material that may respond to changes in temperature and humidity.

Over time, natural changes such as slight movement, minor cracks, or shifts in appearance may occur. These characteristics are normal for natural wood products and are not considered defects.
